For my first lecture I decided to create the logos that were going to end up in the thumbnail of the video myself. At the moment of the recording for that video, which too place a week ago, I was and still am developing Wesonder, which is why I decided to learn graphic design via creation, not memorization. Since my lecture involved the use of Python, Excel, and PDFs, I decided to recreate the logos for such programs and softwares.
The way I did it was using the freely publicly available Google Feature, Google Drawings. Not only is Google Drawings easy to use, free, web based, and publicly available, but it also serves as a statement against expensive softwares such as Adobe. I have nothing against them, and perhaps when it comes of esoteric graphic design features, Adobe is above Google Drawings in terms of functionality, however, the usage of Google Drawings is a statement depicting the cruciality of starting from nothing, rather than accustoming to the collective consensus. I merely did to practice my graphic design skills, which is an aptitude I intend to refine due to its importance in web development. Without further ado, here are the logos
